Keziah Thomas: Founder and London tutor

An internationally recognised performer and workshop leader, Keziah’s life long ambition has been to play the harp. 

After badgering her parents for lessons from the age of 2, Keziah began lessons aged 10. She was educated on the special music course at Pimlico School, a local education authority funded scheme for children in London and then went on to complete a music degree and associate diploma at the Royal College of Music. 

She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across the world and achieved her dream concert in 2010 when she performed a solo recital at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Anita Aslin: North East Tutor

Anita is one of the most accomplished harpists in the North East. She began learning the harp at the age of nine, with Dorothy Gilbertson (in Harrogate) and years later, went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. 

Since graduating from College, Anita has played to Royalty, performed on stages with the London Gala Orchestra, international Opera Singers, has been on set with a television period drama and delighted many audiences with her solo playing.  Her musical journey has taken her on many paths, from playing in St Paul's Cathedral ..... to strumming her strings over in Paraguay!

Lauren Scott: Cheshire Tutor

Lauren Scott is an experienced workshop leader and leads workshops at Harp Festivals and Harp Days. An expert harp teacher for over 30 years, Lauren has internet students based all over the world, and has taught harpists in Europe, Australia, United States, Middle East, Africa, Asia & South Korea. Lauren Scott also composes & arranges for harps, is a respected solo, chamber & freelance musician and her harp playing has led her to performing in venues across the UK from the Royal Albert Hall to West End shows to commercial recordings to live broadcasts on radio and TV.

Eleanor Turner: Virtual Harp Social Tutor

Ellie Turner is an international harp soloist, composer and harp teacher who has been waiting for a programme like Little Harp Social for many years! Ellie performs with musicians from all around the world in many genres, from hip hop artists to Indian-Western fusion. Making music together is what makes Ellie tick, so learning the harp in a group like this just makes sense! was classically trained and studied with Daphne Boden at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and with Alison Nicholls. Her biggest motivation is her three children and she is inspired in creativity by her faith and her desire to be different! She has performed from New Orleans to Shanghai but would LOVE to visit Japan!
